Meet Ladina, then scan any dictionary for the meanings of the above words and you’ll find that they all describe this young, funny, vibrant English-California native. Ladina’s bashfulness is actually her way of acclimatizing to the realization that her dream journey is about to begin, but at the same time, it disguises the energy that is bursting out from within.

Singing, songwriting and performing for as long as she can remember, with her first CD tracks being recorded at the age of 3 by her music producer & father Andrew Spence. Ladina has wanted nothing else but to be on the stage entertaining people (Well, except her guilty pleasure, Johnny Rockets’ Steak Fries). When most children would be spending their Saturdays watching cartoons, Ladina was busy honing her craft, even as a tot. She would put on concerts for her parents, brother and sister in their California backyard every weekend.

“I remember waking up the entire house super early on Saturdays. I would set up a stage in my backyard and the kitchen would become our refreshment area”, recalls Ladina. I would “hire” my brother as the waiter to provide the refreshments, which would be whatever we had in the kitchen, which was usually coffee, my parents love coffee! My sister would be at the front of the house where she would introduce the STAR of the show. “That was ME of course, LOL”, but she too would join in on a few numbers.

Ladina has an unconditional love for the human spirit. Her open-mindedness and appreciation for different backgrounds and cultures has let Ladina realize that everyone and everything is beautiful and this joy is expressed in her craft. Ladina loves to assist and  brighten the day for residents at a home for the elderly in Los Angeles..

Ladina’s unique look is a representation of her personality, as her porcelain skin is framed by her mane of black sometimes red hair. ...blue...whatever she feels like! Her stunning features usually invoke memories of the 1991 Felicity Doll of the American Doll Collection.

Musically, Ladina’s online stats show that she is a burgeoning teen crossover artist. Her growing US fan base spans over 20 states and her YouTube video views show her music reaching fans in over 105 countries. Her music style is a refreshing mix of pop and soul with a dash of the jazz singers of the past with a stunning vocal range allowing her to woo the “lows” and hit the spots with the “highs”. She admires Natasha Bedingfield whose voice she describes as, “the perfect amount of modernity with a true sound of music". She is a fan of her own mother who is a professional vocalist, having sung for Chaka Kahn, Mother Finest, Michael Bolton and had a UK chart entry herself in the 90’s. Completing her wholly musical family, Ladina’s dad is a Grammy submitted and award-winning music producer. Ladina is also inspired by legends such as Ella Fitzgerald for her unique sound and Beyoncé is a favorite because of the balance that she maintains between “sexy” and “classy”.

Ladina’s rise hasn’t always been a walk in the park as she encountered a minor setback after being a contestant on Disney’s Next Big Thing in 2011. She could literally taste what she had been craving for since those days on her 3x3 platform in her backyard (it wasn’t steak fries).

Using that as fuel, Ladina has spent the last few years writing and recording over 20 tracks that are just waiting to be released. Ladina describes her music in her own words: “I would say that you can’t use words to describe the feeling you have when you listen to the right song. It always gets through to people in touching ways and it makes everybody think of something. If at the end of the song you shed a tear or smile then the song spoke to you. That means that your heart and the music are completely connected. This is what I’m part of, it’s my language. I have things to say about poverty and the homeless - encouragement to those who feel worthless - support, care and love to give to every single person through the lyrics I write. It's simply beautiful magic to me, and that is what I stand for.”

She has recently had success singing on the track, “Without You” by DJ Antoine from the album, "Sky is the Limit" which reached number 1 in the iTunes dance charts in Japan, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Ladina took a Meiko original song, “Leave the Lights On” and turned it into a refreshing “Ladina classic”. “Leave the Lights on”, which has a fresh new sound and cool  music video.  Ladina is ready to show her fans just how much she appreciates their love and support!

Ladina is also open to exploring her other talents, which include: fashion icon. She also made her acting debut with the lead role in the musical, 'Once upon a mattress' at the coveted Millikan Performing Arts School, and performing in the role of the daughter in 'The Republic' with Blade Runner actress, Sean Young and Mark Singer from V. She also tries her hand at comedy and posts her comedic sketches on YouTube from time to time.
